Letter: Tax hike on middle class merits outrage

The Senate and House are in the final stages of adopting a new tax bill that would impact every citizen of the United States. Some news reports have stated while upper income earners and corporations would receive tax breaks, many middle class taxpayers would have their taxes go up. If that is true, this should outrage most citizens.

Now is a good time for each of us to write to our representative and our senators and point out if they support a rise in middle class tax rates under the new bill, that act alone would cause us to vote against them at the next election.
