Letter: One unstable dictator vs. another

President Donald Trump's latest tweets on North Korea have received a muted response in South Korea, where media focused more on U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's acknowledgement that the U.S. is keeping open direct communication channels with the North. No one doubts the danger posed by North Korea and its unpredictable and unstable dictator. However, that same description could apply to our president as well.

One would wonder what action would provoke the response of the complete destruction of North Korea by fire and fury as threatened by President Trump? This would probably result in the injuries and deaths of millions of people.

Where does one draw the line between self-defense and genocide?
