The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is always quick to jump on what it believes to be racist, even if it is the only one ("Racist or just naive? Sock toy fuels furor," Tribune, June 14). The Obama sock toy is not any more offensive than Pat Bagley's Salt Lake Tribune cartoons depicting President Bush as a monkey. The only difference is that Obama is black and Bush is white. So it's OK for whites to be offended, but not blacks? Is this fair?
