I just want to tell you how "spot on" was the editorial titled "Sexual ignorance" which appeared in the Aug. 16 Tribune.
It should be required reading for every member of the Utah Legislature and discussed in all educational circles. I'm a 70-plus grandmother and am appalled by the misinformation common among my grandchildren and their peers.
If our young people have to form their ideas and standards of "normal sexuality" from movies, magazines and TV, it's a wonder any of them grow up to be responsible adults. The blame lies directly on the heads-in-the-sand mentality of our legislators.
