After living in Utah all these years, I shouldn't have been surprised. As reported in the Oct. 19 Tribune, "Bush's ratings still soar In Utah."
Give me a break. Bush has proved incompetent, dangerous and the worst president possible. If he'd set out to ruin the country, he couldn't have done a better job.
Utahns, wake up! Just because someone is labeled an authority figure doesn't mean you have to slavishly follow, obey and believe every self-serving word they say. Throw off that childhood indoctrination, stand up and pay attention to what's happening out there. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue, just plain common sense. We, and our children, are all in this together.
It's time to face the reality of this president and his gang of cronies. When it comes to national disasters, Bush is the real thing!
