I'm really tired of the seemingly ceaseless letters about the poor job done by the Utah Legislature. The Legislature deals with hundreds of issues and they get grilled if someone disagrees with just one or two of them. The only way you will have a legislator that agrees 100 percent with every position you hold is if you are the legislator.
So why don't you do something more than whine, and run for office yourself? I've got some ideas why you don't. You probably are way too lazy to put out that kind of effort. It's easier to sit on the sidelines and complain. You probably aren't smart enough to deal with issues other than the few which have particular interest to you. And, most of all, you probably couldn't take the criticism from those who would whine about your work on the hill.
So, what would be wrong with writing a letter expressing gratitude for the efforts they make and expressing your disagreement in a civil manner instead of whining and name-calling like school-yard children?
