Every week, thousands of Utahns cross the Utah border to play the lottery. The lottery supports the schools in other states. Some call having a state lottery gambling. I call it common sense. Why not keep Utah's money here in Utah, for Utah's schools, instead of in Idaho, Wyoming or Colorado? People who don't have the savvy to look "outside the box" for revenue would just eliminate jobs, close schools or raise taxes. Do the members of the Legislature of our great state ever look outside the box?
