Unenforceable law

I totally support banning any use of a cell phone while driving because it affects my rights to be safe as a pedestrian, bicyclist and fellow driver ("Utahns want drivers to hang up the phone," Tribune , Feb. 1). However, who is going to enforce the law? As it is, speed limit laws are virtually unenforced in this state. Have you ever tried going the 65 mph speed limit on Interstate 15 in the Salt Lake Valley? You risk your life if you do. Why waste taxpayers' money by passing a bill that inevitably will not be enforced?
