So Scott Brown, the newly elected Republican senator from Massachusetts, once posed nude for Playgirl . That's OK with me, but if Brown were a Democrat, think of the outrage we would hear from the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Rep. Rob Bishop and our own senators-for-life Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett. Where is the conservative Republican outcry? Where is Gayle Ruzicka, Utah's guardian of political morality?
The Mormons recently excommunicated a man for producing a calendar that merely featured shirtless former missionaries. Where do Utah's Mormons stand on a politician posing naked for a magazine?
When it suits them, all of the above have an awful lot to say about politicians' flaws, including the late Sen. Ted Kennedy's, yet they are conspicuously silent when it concerns one of their own. Could it really be that anything is OK if a Republican decides to do it?
