I am appalled that Kunal Sah's parents were deported back to India after everything they have done to contribute to their community ("Living a life of sacrifices." Tribune , Dec. 24).
Owning a Ramada Inn, they obviously paid federal, state and county taxes.
And this is the thanks they get?
How could Sen. Orrin Hatch let this slip? Whatever happened to keeping families together, which is so heavily preached in this state? What about the president?
Right next to this story is one about the president pardoning criminals. What gives?
Everyone touched by this story should write their senator and representative.
