I agree 100 percent with the editorial "D.C. meltdown: Congress dragging feet on radioactive waste ban" (Our View, July 25), and I would like to add three more items to the feet-dragging list: development of alternative fuels, affordable insurance for all Americans, and affordable prescription drugs for everyone.
The Democrats promised better things when they took over Congress, but all I have seen so far is the prices of the above (plus food) go through the roof. The big three - fuel, insurance and medicine - own Washington, D.C., and nothing will be done until we, the voters, make some drastic changes.
