1. Yes, procreation is the first priority of any society or species. What does this have to do with homosexuals, who aren't going to procreate? So why not allow them the same financial and stability benefits heterosexual couples enjoy?
2. If marriage is for procreating and raising children, should we test the fertility of married, reproductive-aged heterosexual couples, of whom 10 percent are infertile? Are they fit for marriage?
3. Yes, kids do better in two-parent homes, but allowing homosexual marriages increases the pool of adoptive parents and the odds that a child born in a less-than-ideal situation will have a healthy and supportive home.
4. Extinction is an non-issue for homosexual marriage. Only 8 percent of the population is homosexual, and according to Psychology Today, one of many factors that cause homosexuality is an increased level of reproductive health and fertility in the mother's family. In other words, the genetics behind homosexuality is net neutral: While it creates a human who won't procreate, it produces many more who will.
