Jon Huntsman Sr. has been my hero for as long as I can remember. The state of Utah is blessed to have such a wonderful humanitarian who has done so much for the world and for people suffering from cancer.
I have been battling primary progressive MS for a decade and have to use opiates for pain management and deal with their side effects. The legalization of medical marijuana would be a huge step for people like me and so many others suffering painful debilitating illnesses. I want to thank Jon for his support of this issue and hope the state will take appropriate legislative action to move forward with this.
The benefits of medical marijuana have been documented for years and I sincerely hope Utah will join the rest of the country and let doctors research and prescribe it to patients who can benefit from it.
