Now is the time for ecclesiastic leaders to stand up with the power of their convictions and be heard. Depriving millions of vulnerable members of our society of health care is morally wrong. Isaiah calls on all the bishops, pastors, rabbis, apostles, and prophets to stand up. "The Lord enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses. What do you mean by crushing my people and grinding the faces of the poor?' declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty." Isaiah 3:14-15

Join the outrage expressed in Isaiah. Speak out. Call on the religious leaders to put their words into action by defending the vulnerable. Who better to stop the plundering of the poor and the grinding of their faces? Silence is not an option.
