Repeal Obamacare, do not replace it. Health care insurance regulation by the federal government is unconstitutional and must be returned to the states.

Historical constitutional precedence dictates all insurance be state-regulated. The Affordable Care Act or any Republican replacement is simply indicative of the unconstitutional socialist agenda of both parties.

The citizens of each state may choose a socialist system of governance (e.g. Illinois, California), but the national government may not. The Constitution formed a republic with specific and limited delegated powers. Insurance regulation is not one of those delegated powers and the federal government does not have authority to expand its own powers.

State legislatures have failed to "interposition" themselves between the national government and the people to prevent federal overreach. Elected tate officials have allowed themselves to be bullied and steam-rolled when they are, in fact, the police of the federal government.

Two things must happen. Congress must repeal the entire illegal ACA, then stay out of insurance regulation. The states are not helpless children needing parental supervision. Officials of each sovereign state can work together to resolve problems, like cross-border coverage, without illegal paternal federal interference. The dismal failures of a state do not justify unlawful tyrannical federal meddling.
