Letter: Is this really what we want?

Suppose Republican leaders finally get all they want, Obamacare finally overturned (with at least 30 million more people without health care and pre-existing conditions no longer covered), tax cuts so the rich pay nearly zero in taxes (what about our already large deficit?), no regulations protecting our water and air, no abortions (more poor people who can't afford to leave the U.S.A. to get them), no gay marriage, no immigration, no Social Security, no Medicare, unlimited campaign donations by corporations, only Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to report the news.

Is this really the America we want? Why do American voters keep voting these people into office?
