Christian conservatives helped put the Republican Party in power and as a reward the Republican-controlled House passed a health care bill that goes against the major tenets of Christianity. The Senate under Utah's Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee are doubling-down on a bill that would go even further. RepubliCare is a scheme to take from the poor through cuts in Medicaid and give to the rich in the form of huge tax breaks.

There will be a Judgment Day for those who take from poor children and the disabled to give to the filthy rich. I know many of you who voted for Hatch, Lee and Reps. Rob Bishop, Mia Love and Chris Stewart must be distressed over their blatant disregard for your Christian values. Their behavior is indefensible.

I ask that my neighbors pray about this unholy act and search your heart and soul for an answer. When you cast your ballot last November, did you really mean for 22 million Americans to lose their health coverage so billionaires could have more money? This is not a political issue; it's a moral issue and the Republican health care plan is morally bankrupt.
