With all of the fake news coming at us, we would like to check a few things.
1. BYU will no longer punish women who have been attacked by men.
2. Utah Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee know which people deserve help because of long term medical problems, low wages and needing care when elderly. None of them live in Utah.
3. Utah needs Hatch and Lee to find ways to decrease taxes for the much maligned 1 percent.
4. Legislators in Utah protect the public with signs such as, "This is a bar, not a restaurant."
5. People with intractable conditions which might be lessened by medical marijuana are really just looking for an excuse to get high.
