I am wondering if anyone else has the same feeling of a certain commonality in every event of police violence in recent years.

It seems to me there is a virulent disrespect for authority in every case where the police are accused of violence, not only by the victim but the society in general.

The solution could be when in the presence of police, do exactly as he tells you. Do no more than he asks. Do no less than he asks. Do precisely what he asks. No policeman goes to work planning to shoot someone. When violence occurs, it is caused by fear on the part of the policeman. Do not contribute to this fear.

The police put their lives on the line every day for your safety.
