We human beings will ultimately totally drain the life from this planet, which already struggles to sustain us, and we, as civilizations — which include our progeny, will die as with every living thing we've killed.

We profess to be God-fearing, but I think we are most interested in money. Where do we think the money comes from? It comes from this Earth we inhabit. Why don't so many human beings understand this? We continue to take more than our share and simply try to get rich or richer.

I know I write in generalizations, but the big picture is easily seen. Civilizations through time have died.

What is guaranteed to live — after we've depleted this Earth of the resources we need to survive and have taken more of than our fair share just to get rich — is, in time, our planet. This Earth will grow again and once again sustain life. I wonder if Donald Trump and probably far too many other human beings have ever seen a desert blossom. I have — and I bow down.
