I get it, and know that Pat Bagley is respected and good at what he does. Personally, however, I grow tired of his predictable views, with the rarest of a "cartoon" mocking someone from the left of center or shining a dim light on any policy issue that falls on the liberal side.

His pizza pie-shaped cartoon on June 14 is clever, but I think Bagley got it wrong. The entire four-piece pie is equally divided into four kinds of crazy people: religious crazy, right-wing crazy, left-wing crazy and simply crazy. Our local, famous, cartoonist depicts a spin-wheel as an automatic rifle that will land on one of these when spun. Guaranteed.

I think the pie should include all four of Bagley's crazy types, but that they are only 2 percent of the pie total. The rest of the pie should acknowledge some 98 percent of people as "normal" or at least not crazy and very unlikely to consider that if they own a gun they would ever harm anyone with it.

And Pat, maybe you could poke some fun at Nancy Pelosi for me, you know, sorta as a surprise.
