When one analyzes the dynamics of a serious, narcisstic, sociopathic disorder, one will find a behavioral baseline running from near total arrogance, self-centered, do no wrong, behavioral/verbosity manifestations on one side, to one where experiencing confrontation of denial of their will or wants leads to a reversion to even less desirable behavior. Most typical is "projection" (i.e., "Comey is a showboat and grand stander") and "pity pleas" (i.e., "no politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly.") The latter utterance at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and to those he commands.

One can in the future expect either pouting or acting out in strong fashion when he sees that he isn't being able to manipulate others in the manner he wants. It is hoped that he would give what to him would be a "what we deserved" rejection speech of all, and then resign. It is foolish to expect change. Jim Collins, in his seminal book, "Good to Great," expressed: "In my experience it can be surprising and inspiring to work for a humble leader." Regretfully, we will not see that in this president.
