During his campaign, now-President Tweet said that he could shoot someone in broad daylight and his supporters would still vote for him. That was true, at least for most of his supporters.

Now he has essentially announced that he engaged in obstruction of justice by firing FBI Director James Comey. And still those supporters stick by him in spite of such a serious issue.

Similarly, most of those elected as Republicans to the House and Senate continue their support. Principles be damned! Who has principles any more, other than loyalty to a political party?

As we know, some Republicans were critical to acting on the impeachable offenses of President Richard Nixon. Who can now act on behalf of the country? Contact your representative and senators about this disturbing situation.
