Letter: Who is it who is 'on the dole'?

In response to the recent comments of our "Senator for Life," it would seem to me the people who are "on the dole and want every dime they can get" are those who are called senators and representatives.

Instead of going to Washington to work for the people, they only work for their own gain and that of their wealthy donors while denigrating the public.
