Letter: A color-coded history of America

First Published      Last Updated May 18 2017 05:31 am

For centuries, the red people and their children cared for the land.

Then, the white men took the land from the red people. And the red children cried.

Last year, a black man honored the red people and gave the land for preservation to all the people and their children of all colors.

Now, an orange man takes the land back. And all of the people's children cry.

Finally, the orange man gives the land to a small group of gold and silver people. And all of the people's children, and their children's children, forever cry.
