Kudos to The Salt Lake Tribune for its recent national journalism awards: the Frank A. Blethen Award for Local Accountability Reporting from the American Society of Newspaper Editors.
A unanimous decision by the judges awarded the honor to The Tribune for its "relentless coverage of how Brigham Young University and Utah State University botched investigations into sexual abuse complaints."
And to The Tribune sports staff, recognized for having one of the best sports sections in the country with four National Top 10 awards at the Associated Press Sports annual contest in Orlando, Fla.
We all as readers enjoy the rewards of the awards.
