I am glad the U.S. stood up for our stated policy about chemical weapons. In case you did not have a calendar handy, World War I was commemorated this month. Remember mustard gas?

We had an agreement with the Russians, our allies: They would get President Bashar al-Assad to get rid of all of his chemical weapons. Didn't work.

The president does not have to ask because, as we found out with Barack Obama, the Congress will debate forever and he won't act. So Trump learned.

As for Sen. Mike Lee, he has nothing to do since Hillary Clinton is not running. He is just looking for the spotlight. Remind him Congress gave the president the power to shoot people a long time ago.
