Late in the legislative session, our legislators set aside $1 million as an incentive to lure back the Outdoor Retailers' trade show. Given the $2 million shortfall for the Bonanza Flat purchase, perhaps the state of Utah would not only accomplish a lasting legacy for our money, but also show the outdoor industry that as a state, we are committed to open space.
