Seventeen hundred bucks. That's the average family's annualized increased cost of goods and services due to state and federal policies:

Food, booze, clothing, imported goods, gasoline, education, health care, health insurance, car insurance, home insurance, housing, state/national parks, public transportation, public utilities, communication, entertainment, bank fees, interest rates ... and the list goes on.

Do these folks live on the same planet? Or are they so isolated in their ivory towers that they have no clue how they impact us? One should wonder why we keep sending these folks back to represent us.
