Akin to the rumblings of new activism: The headline in The Tribune on March 15, "Utah's ACLU ranks swell." "Since the election of Donald Trump, the [ACLU] has gained record membership numbers." Members have nearly tripled since November.

Perhaps there is hope that increasing numbers of people, constituents and voters, at the grass roots level speaking in concert, can have our voices heard by the often seemingly deaf representatives of ourselves at the federal and even the state levels over the next four years.

Perhaps even the Electoral College could be modified to reflect the popular vote. What if.
