Reading the forum letter "Enforce it or else," regarding the fact that Utah seems to be the leader in passing unenforceable laws (or, should we say, randomly enforced laws) made me begin to wonder: Has Utah really been ahead of its time for the past 100 years?

Now that the federal government is being led by the king of random, as in "Mexico is going to pay for my wall" and "Obama had Trump Tower bugged," has the federal government finally caught up with Utah in spending the taxpayers' money on unenforceable, stupid stuff that is initiated by a holier than thou attitude?

The one difference that I can see is that the Utah Legislature has been building a wall around Utah that I have not seen a request for Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado or Arizona to fund. Also, it has successfully bugged a lot of people. Oh wait, that's a different type of bug.
