I want to clarify that I do not condone the use of tobacco or alcohol by minors, but The Salt Lake Tribune's article on Feb. 26 regarding HB325 ("Selling tobacco to minors could mean tougher fines") begs the question: "Why is the Utah Legislature more focused on tobacco use by minors and the pouring of alcoholic beverages in front of minors than they are on authorizing minors to carry concealed weapons"? Welcome to Utah.
