Rape is reprehensible. No woman should endure a sexual attack. Every female needs protection from assault. A mass sale of pistols would no doubt please the NRA and its staunch supporters among Utah leaders. Big moneymaker.

Are there no other means of self-defense for potential rape victims? Like martial-arts training? Like a stiletto in the boot? Like a stun gun or a Taser?

If a girl fends off a sexual attack and is haunted for life by the image of a guy's blown-off face, would that be a good thing?
