When our country was young, we had a lot of undeveloped land and resources. Now we have over 324 million people and growing. Pollution is increasing, along with this growth.

We cannot invite the whole unfortunate world to share in our successes as a nation. If we do, within 20 years we would face the fate that China now experiences, with severe water and air pollution, with extreme crowding of our land. I suggest that the more "well-to-do countries" of the Middle East, like Saudi Arabia or even Iran, help these refugees out, and keep them in a culture closer to their own homeland.

As for me, my ancestors fought and bled — in the American Revolution, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, Korea and Vietnam — for the success and liberties we now enjoy as a nation. Very few of our recent immigrants have made these contributions to our country, yet want a handout, when many of these people despise our culture and the values that we believe in and hold dear.

All President Trump wants to do is keep us safe. To be so naïve as to think that there are no terrorists among these refugees is preposterous.
