Thank you, Jan Chamberlin ("Singer quits Tabernacle Choir rather than perform at Trump inauguration," Dec. 30) and Cristi Brazao ("Why will this black member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing at Trump's inauguration?," Jan. 13) for rationally acting on the urging of your conscience. We are made stronger by sharing our perspectives for discussion rather than "hiding them under baskets."
