For all Americans who love freedom, who reject fear, who build up rather than tear down, wear a black armband Jan. 20.

For all Americans who respect others, who welcome all those who wish to share in our glorious gift, who realise that they too have a stake in preserving that gift, wear a black armband Jan. 20.

For all those who belive that anyone who would support Vladimir Putin over fellow Americans does not deserve to hold office, wear a black armband Jan. 20.

For all Americans who believe that Donald Trump is the poorest excuse of a man to hold the office of the president of the United States of America, wear a black armband Jan. 20.
