Donna Weinholtz is a wealthy, politically connected, white woman. Weinholtz was caught with two pounds of marijuana. That's a lot of marijuana.

According to Colorado State University, an average user will consume about 100 grams per year.

That means Weinholtz had enough marijuana to supply nine people for a year.

Is she going to jail? Nope. One year probation with nothing on her record at the end of that year.

Do I think she should go to jail? No, I don't. But neither should the countless others who aren't white, wealthy or politically connected who are caught with a fraction of the amount of marijuana she had.

The hypocrisy here is unbelievable. Sim Gill had better make sure no one in Salt Lake County goes to jail for marijuana possession for the rest of his term.
