After reading Karen Jackson's plea for cleaner air for our kids (and the rest of us) I want to ask the parents of these children: "Do you continue to re-elect the same climate change deniers to Congress?" All of Utah's congressional delegation deny that we should do anything to forestall climate change that will affect our children's and future generations lives in a far more negative way than Utah's toxic air pollution.

As a member of the Citizen's Climate Lobby and the Cache Clean Air Consortium, I know that in addition to vehicle pollution, our biggest challenge is to stop mining and burning coal for electricity. Rep. Rob Bishop gets the vast majority of his campaign contributions from out-of-state fossil fuel companies. Change begins at the ballot box. Every vote for our current members of Congress is a vote for climate disaster. Bishop's opponent Peter Clemens is a medical doctor who acknowledges the necessity to fight climate change.
