I'm relieved that the Subway employee accused of spiking the police officer's drink with meth has been exonerated. What hell he must have gone through at such a young age.

However, I haven't seen an outcome of the accusing officer other than the finding of no drugs in his system and that any drugs would have taken minutes, not seconds, to kick in. Why would the officer make such an accusation in the first place if there was no evidence of any wrongdoing?

I would hope that he is now placed under the same microscope and suffers the same scrutiny and public embarrassment that the young man did.
