Colin Powell calls Donald Trump a "national disgrace," as Trump is the center of attention for politically incorrect views, a good number of faux pas incidents and blundering gaffes. It seems Powell has blinders on, as he has spent most of his adult life in Washington, D.C.

Here are a few national disgraces he missed: the U.S. government ignoring the plight of soldiers who fell into Soviet hands following World War II. Then ignoring the plight of GIs in North Korea following that war. Finally, the Pentagon knowingly leaving American GIs in North Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. How about 22 veterans coming suicide per day?

Then we have politicians and federally appointed officials who sell favors, legislation and access when money is donated to their re-election campaign fund or foundation. If that is not a national disgrace, what is?
