I, for one, am totally disgusted at the way the presidential race has degenerated into an insult fest.
As a lifelong Democrat, I am ashamed that Hillary Clinton chose to lower herself with the "deplorables" comment. While one can attempt to rationalize it because of Donald Trump's merciless barrage, there is still no excuse.
While I can't fathom why they would hitch their wagon to this guy, I have many good friends who do. I support and respect their right to do so.
My wish is crooked Clinton and unethical Trump would shake hands and campaign on the issues that face many of us.
While I am at it: What happened to the notion that Donald Trump does not represent Utah values?
