I have recently become aware of a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) violation filed against Donald Trump. The violation is related to Trump University and was filed by students of that university.

If Trump should become the president of the United States, and loses the court case against him, it is at least possible that the court could order some jail time.

If that should happen, would it then mean that the president of the United States would serve as president from a jail cell, or could he as president invoke presidential authority to grant a pardon to himself? Just wondering.
