On the morning of Sept. 14, my wife and I were riding our bikes on Wasatch Boulevard and somehow I dropped the Ziplock bag containing a credit card and some cash.

I was unaware that I dropped the bag until I received a call from a Wells Fargo staff member later that morning. She informed me that a woman had found my credit card and cash near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon and turned it in at the branch near 3900 South on Wasatch Boulevard.

The bank staff member didn't have the name of the woman so I couldn't directly contact her.

I'd like to thank that unknown woman for her honesty and decency. I'm sure she had to go out of her way to find a Wells Fargo branch.

It would have been easy to pocket the cash and cut up the card but she did the right thing and I'm appreciative. I will be on the lookout for an opportunity to return the kindness. Thanks!
