My husband and I recently spent eight days in Salt Lake City. Coldplay was the primary reason for the trip and Coldplay was a good excuse for us to visit a place on our bucket list.

After the Coldplay concert ended we rushed to the Courthouse TRAX station only to discover that we missed the last Red Line train. As a group of us huddled to determine how to proceed, (Uber? Lyft?), a TRAX staff member appeared and told us to wait and he would get a Red Line train for us. Sure enough, about 20 minutes later, a train arrived. That same staff member stayed around to make sure we all got on the correct car before sending us on our way.

We are from the Boston area and know that such personal treatment would never happen with our local transportation system.

Thanks, Salt Lake City, for your hospitality and double thanks to TRAX for going above and beyond what was required.
