In a recent rare session of Congress, Rep. Jason Chaffetz demanded that the FBI turn over all files related to investigations into Hillary Clinton's email server. He claimed he had the right to see everything because he was elected by over 800,000 people to serve in Congress.

I'm pretty sure that there are not 800,000 people in his district, counting every man, woman, child and pet jackalope.

Records indicate he received a substantial sum of 102,952 votes in 2014. Nothing to sneeze at but to waggle your finger and claim rights based on 800,000 nonexistent votes is silly at best and seems an attempt to justify an over-inflated ego. Since it was a staged event (he had a subpoena prepared beforehand) you would think he might get his facts straight about his own election.

Fortunately for all of us, he does not have the right to everything the FBI has on anybody he decides he wants to persecute.
