In a year of unbelievably high disapproval numbers for both major party candidates, I, along with many others, wish to open up the debates, so third party messages can be considered. If we as a country can get to a point where over half the electorate likes neither candidate, we as a society must demand a debate counter to our current duopoly. Demand that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton invite both Gary Johnson and Jill Stein onstage for the first presidential debate. The public has the right to hear a vigorous debate from ALL sides. Support democracy, support greater engagement in our political process. Please support third party candidates and their right to participate in these media events.
