We're supposed to be the greatest country on Earth yet we are blind to the game of politics: a malicious cycle of money, greed and predetermined power. There is no "people's candidate." They all want money and their super PAC agenda. It's time to stop corporations from running America into the ground; they are causing climate change and then convincing most Americans that it doesn't exist!
All senators should be removed immediately and all campaign funding should be public, we should re-elect the entire government. And corporate "free speech" donations should be against the law.
It's time to do things right: teachers are the top profession, education first, all campaign funding has to be public, college should be affordable, there should be free healthcare for everyone, and, most importantly, political corruption and bribery should only result in jail time. It's the only way the corporations and politicians will learn.
The saddest part of all this is I wrote this at 15 years old. The fact that I can see past the lies and way over half of American adults can't is preposterous. We need to open our eyes and see the damage being done. It's time to fix our country and the world before it's too late.
