The Democrats and the media have been incessant in their focus on derailing Donald Trump's campaign, which is relatively easy since he gives them so much to work with on a daily basis. In doing so, they have assumed some moral superiority by telling Republicans what we need to think, what we need to do, to rid ourselves of Trump as a candidate. "Dump Trump," they tell us. Or more directly, Republicans are stupid if we support Trump. Many Republicans have followed along, openly disavowing Trump, saying that the things he says are not the things they believe or stand for.

But if we are incensed and outraged by Trump, how can we ignore Hillary Clinton's long record of corruption? Many Republicans are vocally leaving the Trump bandwagon on principle, so where is the principle of the Democrats who continue to stand with a candidate who is not only unfit for office, but puts herself above the law?

By refusing to denounce a crooked and unprincipled candidate, Democrats are demonstrating that they have no values, no principles, no message that can be trusted. If Trump is elected by some miraculous turnaround, we don't know what we'll get. But if Clinton is elected, we know exactly what we'll get, and that should alarm all of us. There are other candidates, although lesser-known, who better represent America's values of integrity and respect for law.
