Planned Parenthood Association of Utah designed a special run of CTR condoms to give away to a progressive group of adults at the 2016 Salt Lake Summer Symposium of Sunstone Magazine. Our intention was to spark a "choose the right birth control" conversation with the adult participants to promote safe and healthy sexuality.

Though this was meant to start conversations about making good choices, it clearly has offended some in the LDS community.

We deeply regret any confusion or insult we may have caused. That was not our intent.

Planned Parenthood's public education efforts and clinics serve men and women of all faiths, including members of the LDS Church. We operate from a base of trust and respect for the people and the communities we serve. To the extent that we may have breached those principles in this instance, we sincerely apologize.
