I watched our distinguished Republican Sen. Mike Lee trash Donald Trump Tuesday night on MSNBC, the lefty channel.

Lee accused Trump of being unqualified to be president simply because some time ago Trump apparently didn't know or wasn't sure that the 1920 amendment to our federal Constitution allowing women to vote was called the 19th Amendment. Imagine that. And of course the MSNBC pundits were just as horrified as Lee.

A couple of points: First, Trump isn't a lawyer, which is certainly a plus for him as a presidential candidate. Lawyers see the world unduly pessimistically and are defensive by training, which is not a good quality in a president. They don't typically see the good in things, which is what makes most lawyers bad businessmen. Secondly, I would wager that if you asked 1,000 lawyers off the tops of their heads what the woman's suffrage amendment was, probably only 25 at best would know it was the 19th.

What is at stake in the November election is world government versus nation-state sovereignty. If you want this nation to continue to evolve towards world government, the path set by George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and of which the EU is but a trial balloon, vote for Hillary Clinton. If you want us to preserve and shore up our nation-state status, a true enemy of world government, vote for Trump.
